The Faculty of International and Political Studies at the University of Lodz (UŁ) will host an Asian Day on Thursday 27 April. Students and pupils from the partner schools invited to the event will participate in workshops and lectures on four thematic tracks: Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Vietnamese.

Participants will learn interesting threads about the history and geography of China and Japan, national minorities in Vietnam and Vietnamese cinema, and take part in workshops on Hindi language and yoga. There will also be lectures on Indian issues. In addition, workshop participants will be able to listen to a concert of Indian music.

A special event will be a speech by the Indian Ambassador to Poland. Nagma Mohamed Mallick will deliver a lecture on Indian diplomacy and foreign policy.
