The University of Lodz (UŁ) has joined the prestigious group of universities associated within the network of the European University of Post-Industrial Cities (UNIC – European University of Post-Industrial Cities).
The goal of UNIC is to shape students and researchers who, by acquiring knowledge, teaching and taking up employment across Europe, will become leaders of change and play an important role in the transformation of urban regions. Thus, they will contribute to the strengthening of revitalization trends in post-industrial centers of Europe, introducing science into urban space. As a result, a new generation of students and researchers with knowledge, skills and public awareness will emerge to shape the future European Education Area.

Participation in programs run by UNIC will give our students and employees new, unique opportunities to join the international academic community” says Prof. Elżbieta Żądzińska, Rector of the University of Lodz.
