The University of Lodz has received a record amount of 13 research grants, which makes 10% of all funds submitted to Polish universities within the competition MINIATURA 2.

– Science develops when the proper conditions are created. As the university, we attempt to create the best conditions for our scientists – said Professor Elżbieta Żądzińska, vice-rector of the University of Lodz for science.

The Łódź University provides scientific support during the studies. Any student interested in research may apply for the grant from the University’s own program – Student Research Grant. The application procedure is simplified, but it remains very similar to the applying for grants from the National Science Center. This prepares young researchers to apply later for such grants as MINIATURE 2.
