The Institute of Urban Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences of the University of Lodz is organizing on November 16-17, 2018 a scientific and didactic conference for upper secondary school teachers entitled “Tourism in nature”.

The goal of the organizers is to familiarize participants with resources and natural values in tourism.

– We would like to encourage you to deepen your knowledge of the peculiarities of animate and inanimate nature and the possibility of getting to know them through tourism, as well as the participation of tourism in its protection. We will pay attention to the following issues: nature protection in the context of tourism development, changing relations between tourism and the natural environment, nature perception, landscape aesthetics, natural environment absorption, development and use of natural resources to renew and improve human psychophysical forces.
