The University of Lodz has set up a special team to develop mechanisms of action that allow students and employees to effectively respond to possible cases of discrimination at the university. The team includes both staff and managers of administrative units.
The anti-discrimination team is another initiative of the University of Lodz to develop the social responsibility of the university.
The team’s task is to work out an equality policy for the University of Lodz. The starting point for the document are provisions of national, EU and international law, including the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Equality policy will also result from the receiving the prestigious HR Excellence in Research logo awarded to the University of Lodz.
