On Monday, July 15, 2019, the third summer school “Understanding Poland” was launched at the University of Lodz (UŁ). It is intended for students from Chinese universities.

This time 200 students from different regions of China will come to Łódź, including universities such as the prestigious Nankai University in Tianjin.

Chinese students will try to learn Polish, learn about the history and culture of Poland. There will also be the trips to Żelazowa Wola and Warsaw.

In the educational part, students will take part in selected education modules organized by the Departments of: Biology and Environmental Protection, Economics and Sociology, Philology, Philosophy and History, Mathematics and Information Technology, and Management.
The organizer of the School is the Center for Asian Affairs of the University of Lodz.
