The Center for International Cooperation of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin is informing about obtaining nearly EUR 1 million for the implementation of the “Reinitialise” project under the Horizon 2020 program. The scientific director of the project is Dr Ilona Biernacka-Ligięza from the Institute of Social Communication and Media Sciences UMCS.
This is the first consortium project coordinated by UMCS in Lublin in the history of the Horizon 2020 Program. The consortium includes the University of Macerata, the Catholic University of Leuven and the Eurocentro company.
The main goal of “Reinitialise” is to strengthen the scientific excellence and innovative potential of research conducted at UMCS in the design and use of digital information and communication technologies, taking into account the ethical, legal and socio-economic dimension of these solutions.
The project will start in January 2021 and will last for 3 years.
