The Department of Public Administration and Management of the Faculty of Economic and Legal Sciences of the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce and the Scientific and Political Thought Society are organizing on 16 April 2019 a scientific conference entitled “Territorial self-government in political and legal thought”.

The organizers are inviting not only political scientists and lawyers to participate in the conference, but also philosophers, sociologists and other representatives of social sciences and humanities interested in this subject.

During the conference they are to discuss following issues: local government as a research problem of political science / legal sciences; territorial / local government – delimitation of concepts in the perspective of political thought; territorial self-government in relation to the basic problems and categories of political philosophy (power, legitimization, sovereignty, political matters).
