Prof. Rafał Riedel of the University of Opole received 459 thousand PLN co-financing for his project “Determinants and dynamics of diversified integration in (post) Brexit Europe” under the Opus program organized by the National Science Center.
Prof. Riedel aims to explain the conditions and dynamics of diversified integration in Europe (the European Union and its surroundings) in an interdisciplinary perspective, integrating many dimensions, e.g. socio-political or economic factors. The project will be implemented in the years 2021-2024.
The issue of diversified integration seems to be an ideal research field, because it brings together conditions and consequences of an economic, institutional, and socio-political nature. The project will contribute to broadening and updating scientific knowledge on a key element of the European integration process. It will allow to identify, understand and explain the factors determining the diversity of integration and its dynamics.
