The Research Centre for Public Competition Law and Sectoral Regulation at the University of Silesia (UŚ) has formed a partnership with the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). The agreement will be the beginning of a multifaceted cooperation, leading primarily to professional activation of students in the areas of the UOKiK’s activity.
The agreement was signed by the Director of the Centre, Dr Mirosław Pawełczyk, and the President of UOKiK, Tomasz Chróstny.
According to the agreement, joint ventures will include co-organisation of internship programmes for students and graduates of the Faculty of Law and Administration at UŚ, co-organisation of competitions and olympiads of knowledge and popularisation of competition law, co-organisation of conferences and seminars in competition law and sector regulations, as well as exchange of knowledge and experience in the process of lawmaking in the field of competition law.
