The University of Silesia will implement two projects under the program “Raising the competences of academic staff and the potential of institutions in accepting people from abroad – Welcome to Poland”.

The projects are to contribute to increasing the level of internationalization, improving the competences of project participants, as well as creating an open space, accessible and friendly to students.

The first project of the “University of Silesia – facilitating navigation at the University of Silesia for foreigners” is addressed to people directly involved in foreigners’ service, as well as students and foreign staff coming for teaching, educational or scientific purposes.

The objective of the second project – “Preparation of the administrative staff for the implementation of an effective process of adaptation of foreign students at the university” – is shaping the attitudes of openness and organizational preparation of the university to increase accessibility among administrative officers.
