The University of Silesia in Katowice will implement the projects “GAME JAM as a new teaching method. Improving the quality of education in the field of new technologies on the Polish-Slovak border “and” Modern education on environmental hazards as a way to create new, specialized jobs”.
Money for the implementation of both projects comes from the INTERREG Poland-Slovakia Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020. Financing agreements were signed in Katowice by the secretary of state at the Ministry of Investment and Development Grzegorz Puda and the rector of the University of Silesia Prof. Andrzej Kowalczyk.
The INTERREG Poland-Slovakia Cross-Border Cooperation Program supports initiatives aimed at developing solutions increasing the quality and diversity of vocational education, as well as adapting vocational education to the requirements of the cross-border labor market and to the expectations of employers operating in the area covered by the program.
