University of Silesia in Katowice, NANONET Foundation, Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice and the Center of Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences invite participants to the Forum Biznes – Nauka. Nano-POWER – inspiration in the energy industry.
During the Forum – November 7, the scholars will present good practices of implementing nanotechnology and nanomaterials in power industry, construction and heating. The main topics will include: the use of nanotechnology in optoelectronics, thermal insulation products, batteries and accumulators as well as catalysts for energy and renewable energy sources.
As part of the Forum, the Silesian Inter-University Center for Education and Interdisciplinary Research in Chorzów will hold the “Materials Research for Industry” workshops. During the workshop, visitors will be able to use devices for determining the physico-chemical parameters of the nanoscale materials.
