The Institute of Political Sciences and Journalism of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia invites participants to the scientific conference “Polish Politics 1918-2018”. The partners of the event are: Society for Scientific Initiatives, Polish Political Sciences Society Branch in Katowice, Upper Silesia-Zagłębie Metropolis, Katowice Special Economic Zone.

The organizers of the conference are planning a scientific debate summarizing the political processes taking place in Poland in 1918-2018. The debate will be held on 6 and 7 November in Wisła. Scheduled thematic panels are: 100 years of Poland in Europe and in the world; politics in Poland in the years 1918-2018; Poland in international relations, including foreign policy in the years 1918-2018; Central and Eastern Europe in the years 1918-2018; Polish media in the years 1918-2018 and Silesia as a region in Poland and Europe.
