The University of Silesia in Katowice invites participants on Saturday, July 7 from 10.00 to 16.00 to the Rosarium of the Silesian Park for “Breakfast on the grass with the University of Silesia”. The guests will be able to use the Mobile Recruitment Point, solve the “Focus” quiz and sign up for studies.

For kids, classes will be organized in the Children’s Zone, pupils can participate in a lecture entitled “The Secret Life of Trees” prepared by Prof. Piotr Skubała from the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection. The program also includes games, exercises and sports shows run by the Academic Sports Association of the University of Silesia.

The event guests will take part in a show of Chinese tea ceremony combined with a tasting it. At the end, a lecture on Chinese language and customs prevailing in China is planned and within the interactive part the visitors will be able to learn some basic phrases and write selected Chinese characters.
