The Institute of Linguistics at the University of Silesia is inviting the public to a scientific conference entitled “Oriental Meetings in Sosnowiec” (Sosnowiec Oriental Meetings). Scheduled for 25 March 2024, the conference is an interdisciplinary event promoting intercultural dialogue. 

The meeting is aimed at young scholars, including doctoral and undergraduate students, who in their research deal with the languages, cultures and societies of oriental countries – in the broad sense of the term, the Near and Far East, as well as India.

The conference will take place at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia in Sosnowiec and online on the MS Teams platform. To participate, please fill in and send in the registration form available on the event website. Applications can be sent until 18 February 2024.
