The University of Silesia in Katowice received over PLN 1.5 million in funding for the project “Interdisciplinary Center for the Development of Human Resources – a think tank for the development of key competences of future human resources for Polish science”. Money was granted by the Minister of Science and Higher Education as part of the “Dialogue” competition.
The main goal of the undertaking is to support the processes of managing the development of human resources in the higher education sector in Poland by creating and disseminating an integrated concept for the development of key competences of the research and administrative support staff. The activities of the Interdisciplinary Personnel Development Center of the University of Silesia in Katowice will strengthen the research potential of the higher education sector.
The project’s task will also be to improve the effectiveness of cross-sectoral cooperation between science and the business environment and to develop tools that will ultimately enable monitoring of the level of key competences for the higher education sector in Poland.
