The University of Silesia in Katowice will cooperate with Chorzów as part of the “University of the Best” program. The contract was signed by the vice-mayor of the city, Wiesław Ciężkowski and vice-president for education and students of the University, Prof. Ryszard Koziołek.

The “University of the Best students” program aims to develop the skills of the most talented students of primary and secondary schools, as well as to present the educational offer of the university and to encourage young people to study in the Silesian Voivodeship. The initiators of this initiative are the University of Silesia and the city of Katowice.

As part of the program, ten best students from primary and secondary schools and residing in Chorzów will be able to start work under the supervision of tutors – scientific supervisors supporting the selection of the optimal scientific path and adapting it to the student’s interests.
