The University of Silesia has established cooperation with Polish Waters. The signatories of the letter of intent want to use the experience and scientific and didactic potential of the university, as well as the engineering and substantive potential of the Polish Water Management – the Regional Water Management Authority in Gliwice.
Their actions will include presenting and promoting achievements in Poland and abroad, exchanging information and experiences, preparing opinions, expert opinions or studies, organizing conferences, seminars, courses and training, as well as cooperating in the implementation of student internships and employment of graduates.
Common goals and concern for water welfare also resulted in opening a study dedicated to water management Aquamatics – interdisciplinary management of water environments. It is a study that provides the education of a competent staff of employees whose task will be to manage waters and water-related environments.
