University of Silesia in Katowice signed an agreement of cooperation with the Institute of Organic Industry – Branch in Pszczyna (IPO). The document was signed by the Vice-Rector for international and national cooperation, Dr Tomasz Pietrzykowski and the head of the IPO branch Dr. Przemysław Fochtman.

The cooperation assumes the implementation of joint projects, promotion of entrepreneurship in the academic environment, supporting the projects of university students, organization of student internships for full-time and part-time students, and organization of internships for the best students and graduates of the University.

Representatives of the Institute will participate in consultations regarding education programs and diploma theses at the university. The purpose of the contract is also to animate and create cooperation networks to use the scientific and human potential of both organizations. The Institute will also help in the expansion of the University’s laboratory infrastructure.
