University of Silesia to cooperate with Ukrainian State University in Mariupol

The University of Silesia in Katowice has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ukrainian State University of Mariupol, a strategic associate partner of the Transform4Europe (T4EU) alliance. The agreement was signed by the Rector of the University of Silesia Prof. Ryszard Koziołek and the Rector of Mariupol State University Prof. Mykola Trofymenko.

The agreement covers, among other things, joint research initiatives, cooperation with external stakeholders, exchange of undergraduate, masters and doctoral students and staff, as well as: guest lectures, seminars, symposia, study visits, consultations and other forms of cooperation, as well as the creation of joint study programmes and courses. 

The University of Silesia has been a member of T4EU since 2020. The alliance aims to educate young Europeans who will work together to acquire digital, intercultural and entrepreneurial competences.
