The Department of Special Education at the Faculty of Ethnology and Educational Sciences of the University of Silesia and the Regional Center for Social Policy of the Silesian Province invite participants to the conference “Past for the Future” on November 14th.

This year’s, ninth conference refers to events related to the 100th anniversary of regaining independence and the 100th anniversary of women’s electoral rights in Poland. The first part of the conference will deal with historical aspects, and the deputy Konstanty Wolny, who was one of the first Silesian deputies to the Sejm.

In the second part, a panel discussion “Activity – prevention and health” is planned with the participation of scientists, doctors, politicians and seniors. Co-organizers of the conference are the Academic Association of Social Assistance, the Association of Active Silesia, and Universities of the Third Age in Cieszyn and Wodzisław Śląski.
