University of Silesia to hold a conference about the future of scientific research

The Polish-American Fulbright Commission and the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia are inviting participants on January 31 and February 1 to the international scientific conference “The future of scientific research in the light of copyright, codes of ethics for researchers and criteria for research quality evaluation”.

The meeting is addressed in particular to scientists, graduates and scholarship holders of the Fulbright program. The program includes three thematic panels and a discussion on the impact of the policy of scoring scientific works on the development of social sciences and humanities.

Participation in the conference was confirmed by Prof. Sarah de Rijcke (Leiden University), Prof. David Budtz Pedersen (Aalborg Universitet), Prof. Peter van den Besselaar (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), Prof. Gunnar Sivertsen (Norwegian Institute for Research Analysis) and Prof. Theresa Beiner (UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law).
