The Polish Academy of Sciences, the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and the National Center for Scientific Research invite you to the seminar “Safeguarding our Climate, Advancing our Society” at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice.

The seminar program includes a panel discussion and three thematic sessions devoted to the results of the latest research on climate change and the challenges resulting from these changes in the technological, economic and social dimensions. One of the speakers will be Prof. Jacek Jania from the Faculty of Earth Sciences at the Silesian University – chairman of the Center for Polar Studies.

The event supported by the Rector of the University of Silesia will be part of COP24 climate summit organized in Katowice.
