The Faculty of Theology of the University of Silesia in Katowice invites participants to the XXV Theological Evening. The theme of the meeting on January 24 will be “Marriage Processes in the Church.” The program includes a poster exhibition, introductory performance and open lectures in the field of canon law.
During the evening, the most frequently appearing legal titles, the method of determining the formula of process doubt, as well as the subsequent stages of the ordinary and shortened process will be presented. Speakers are canonist lawyers: Dr Mariusz Auguścik – vice-rector of the Metropolitan Court in Katowice and priest Dr. Rafał Dappa – vice- rector of the Bishop’s Court in Gliwice.
The poster exhibition prepared by the deacons of the Higher Silesian Seminary will present obstacles and defects of marital consent and information about the form of the relationship, as well as a canonical description of the marriage. A short introductory spectacle will be also presented by students.
