The Faculty of Philology at the University of Silesia in Katowice received 180 thousand euro funding for the project “Between interaction and innovation – creating a communication space in the digital world”.

Researchers from the Silesian University together with researchers from Cyprus, Malta and Lithuania will work on strengthening the digital competences of humanistic-oriented students and increasing the communication competences of science students. The project involves the University of Silesia, European University Cyprus, University of Malta and Kazimiero Simona Viciaus Universitetas.

As part of the project, digital textbooks will be created for both students and academic scholars, presenting how to communicate effectively and safely in the world of WEB 2.0, as well as an educational strategic game based on the concept of mapping knowledge and the idea of gamification.
