In October, the University of Silesia will begin the implementation of the second project “PROM – international scholarship exchange of doctoral students and academic staff”. The university obtained over PLN 1.1 million from the PROM program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

Under the program, 60 trips abroad and 40 visits from foreign universities will be carried out. Most of opportunities are addressed to PhD students. The project is open to both PhD students and those, who take up studies in newly established university doctoral schools.
The stays planned under the project will translate into an increase in the university’s research potential. The project will also enable the transfer of new research technologies, increasing the number of projects undertaken with partner universities from abroad. Mobility of young scientists will have a positive impact on the internationalization of education.
