The best students from schools cooperating with the University of Silesia will take part in a savoir-vivre course, organized for them by the Silesian university. The lecture and training will take place on Monday, 9 April in the rectorate building of the University of Katowice, ul. Bankowa 12.
The workshops will cover the classic principles of savoir-vivre (including greetings and farewells, presentation, styling, inappropriate behaviors) and issues related to interpersonal communication (including non-verbal forms of communication). The lecturer will also talk about the basic principles of the culinary etiquette or a proper dress code.
The classes will be led by Dr Andrzej Szteliga, specialist in in the field of economic diplomacy. He is also a lecturer of the diplomatic protocol and etiquette at the Academy of Diplomacy of the University of Silesia.
