The University of Szczecin and Santander Bank Polska SA signed an agreement on further cooperation under the Santander Universidades project. The main areas of joint activities will concern supporting the culture of entrepreneurship, student internships, establishing international contacts, scientific research, development of new technologies, substantive support for the academic community.

In September, they will start calls for two programs prepared under the contract: Santander Universidades awards for active representatives of the academic community of the University of Szczecin and the Marketing Academy in Santander eSports.

For 25 years, the Santander Universidades program has been part of the bank’s commitment to sustainable development and reflected its leading position as a socially responsible bank. Since 2002, Santander has allocated nearly EUR 2 billion to education, and the number of scholarships awarded since 2005 amounts to 600,000.
