The Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin won the competition of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of the “Implementation Doctorate” program. For the first time, implementation doctorates will be carried out at the Szczecin university.

The Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin will realize 9 doctorates in the field of social sciences in the following disciplines: management and quality sciences – 6 people; socio-economic geography and spatial management – 1 person; pedagogy – 1 person and legal sciences – 1 person. The value of the project is almost PLN 2.8 million.

The ministerial program supports the preparation of doctoral dissertations by doctoral students conducting researches that can be used in the activities of a given company. The preparation of the thesis should not take longer than 4 years. “Implementation doctorate” is also a chance for entrepreneurs to hire a talented scientist who will solve the technological problem faced by the company.
