The University of Technology and Humanities (UTH) in Radom has signed a cooperation agreement with four sports clubs in Radom. The UTH rectors promise to reactivate the Academic Sports Association (AZS) at the university.

The university in Radom has signed a contract with volleyball clubs WKS Czarni Radom, E. Leclerc Moya Radomka, basketball Hydrotruck Radom and athletic club Optima Radom.

Thanks to the cooperation, students of physical education will be able to observe training methods in individual disciplines, participate and assist in training classes. It will also include research and scientific cooperation, where scholars and students will be able to conduct research with the use of UTH equipment and infrastructure. Clubs in the future will be able to employ the best students as coaches.

-The university is Radom. We want it to identify itself with our city, also, through sport, because we have strong clubs in Radom. I do not hide that we want to reactivate the AZS which was closed some time ago – said the rector of the UTH, Prof. Sławomir Bukowski.
