The University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz (UTP) has started the implementation of the Instrument Valley’s project. Its aim is to support entrepreneurs, promote industry education as well as promote the region as a strong center of the tool industry.
The agreement on this matter was signed during the Innoform fair in Bydgoszcz by the UTP Rector, voivodship marshal, the mayor of Bydgoszcz, the head of the Bydgoszcz poviat, the rector of the University, the chairman of the board of the Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster and the Kujawsko-Pomorski Curator of Education.
The aim of the project is to care for the development of the tool and plastics processing industry, to support industry education at all stages of education and to promote the Instrument Valley’s brand and the Innoform fair.
In Bydgoszcz, there are over 190 enterprises dealing in plastics processing and about 30 tool centers. They employ a total of over 4,000 people.
