Mayor of Łódź Hanna Zdanowska and Vice-Rector for Science at the Lodz University of Technology Prof. Ireneusz Zbiciński, signed an agreement on cooperation between the University of the Third Age of the Lodz at the University of Technology and the city of Łódź, regarding joint activities for the multi-aspected development of the seniors’ community.

Thanks to the cooperation established, the parties will be able to inspire each other to joint activities for the benefit of seniors in the areas of education, promotion of physical, social and cultural activity and learning about the environment and history of the Lodz region.

The University of the Third Age of the Lodz University of Technology, operating since 2006, is an integral part of a university. In the academic year 2018/19, the number of active listeners reaches almost 700 people.
