University of the Third Age of the University of Wroclaw develops the competences of seniors

The University of the Third Age of the Wroclaw University is implementing the project “University of Seniors – an innovative approach in adult education”, which took first place in the competition of the National Center for Research and Development.

The project assumes the development of four key competences, indicated by the European Union as essential in the lifelong learning process. Regardless of the age, seniors need IT, language, socio-civic competences and skills related to the use of experience.

Wroclaw University of the Third Age also proposes content that meets the requirements of the modern world – coping with stress, conflict resolution, mindfulness and relaxation. The implementation of activities will cost over PLN 1 million, the whole amount will be financed from the European Union funds. The project is a large-scale program and will be completed in 2021.
