PKP S.A., PKP Informatyka, and the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn have signed a trilateral cooperation agreement concerning the organisation and implementation of internships for students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as the conduct of research and development and educational projects.
In addition to enabling UWM students to gain practical knowledge and experience in the structures of two PKP Group companies, cooperation in the creation of curricula for studies related to the development of information technology, the partners of the agreement will focus on creating a space for the exchange of information, knowledge, and experience.
“The PKP company is a strategic partner of the University of Warmia and Mazury. It is very important for knowledge to be transformed into practice and to provide concrete solutions for the development of the country and society, and this can only happen through the development of individual companies. This is why the synergy of science and business is so important”, said Professor Jerzy Przyborowski, rector of UWM.
