This year, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn enrolled 271 students studying in Polish and, for the first time, 12 studying in English. They are 11 women and one man coming from Ireland, Canada, Ukraine and Poland.

UWM’s veterinary students were recruited by the Medical Poland company from Bydgoszcz, which deals with the enrolment of foreign students at eight Polish medical universities and three schools where veterinary medicine can be studied: in Warsaw, Wrocław and Olsztyn.

Adam Krawczyk, president of Medical Poland, emphasises that compared to other centres, Olsztyn has serious advantages: the veterinary faculty here is the best in Poland. The Faculty has very good didactic facilities and clinics enabling students to gain practical skills. ‘On top of that, there is a beautiful campus,” he adds.

Medical Poland not only acts as an intermediary in the recruitment of foreign students, but also takes care of them throughout their studies.
