Candidates for studies at the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn in the academic year 2020/2021 most often chose medicine, veterinary medicine and psychology. Also, criminology, law, IT, economics, management and English philology were very popular.
The online application process of candidates for UWM ended on August 13. This year, 12.5 thousand people applied for studying at UWM. On August 19, candidates found out whether they had been accepted for studies.
Traditionally, the candidates most often chose medicine (1435 applicants – almost 12 people for one place) and veterinary medicine (966 applicants – almost 5 people for one place). Two new fields of study at UWM were also very popular: psychology (641 applicants – more than 10 people for one place) and criminology (348 applicants – almost 6 people for one place). The next places in the ranking took: law, IT, economics, management and English philology.
