The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn received the gold medal of the Polish Success Academy “for many years of achievements in staff education, scientific achievements and activities for the common good”.

The Polish Success Academy aims to promote the activities of the Polish Business Club. For 30 years, the club has been promoting people, companies and products, presenting the opinions of the environment, mainly in matters relating to the conditions for running a business.

Candidates for medals may be nominated by business organizations, creative, scientific and sports associations as well as members of the Medal Jury.

The jury assesses company results, creative achievements, social recognition and prestige, received awards and distinctions, promotion of European values. It also grants the Polish Business Oscars of Honor. It is awarded to outstanding economic and political personalities whose activities in the international arena favors Polish interests. This distinction was received by Zbigniew Brzeziński, Hans Dietrich Genscher, Jimmy Carter, Jerzy Giedroyc, Prof. Władysław Bartoszewski.
