Conducting joint scientific research, as well as traineeships and internships for students are the main assumptions of the cooperation agreement that the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn has signed with the Chemirol service and commercial enterprise.
Chemirol is involved in, among other things, the distribution of plant protection products and fertilisers, as well as grain trading.
Prof. Krzysztof Jankowski, dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry at UWM, explains that the agreement concerns implementation research, research and development or expansion of UWM’s activities related to agricultural consultancy.
“We believe that we can mutually benefit from sharing what is created in our laboratories. I would also like us to organise conferences and training for students. We educate students in plant production technology and agricultural production management, so graduates of these faculties can find themselves in various departments of Chemirol”, said Prof. Jankowski.
