The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn has the opportunity to advance in the next three years from the status of a regional university to the status of a research university – said Sebastian Skuza, deputy minister of science and higher education.

Deputy Minister Skuza took part in the meeting of vice-rectors for financial affairs of regional universities organized at the University of Warmia and Mazury.

The new parameterization of the university will be taken in 2021. So there is still time for all disciplines at the University of Warmia and Mazury to get up at least to the B + rating, which is the starting point for promotion to the “better league” – said Deputy Minister Skuza.
