The University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn has launched the construction of the Science and Innovation Center for Science and Innovation. The first visitors are welcomed in 2021.
The basic aim of the center will be to popularize science and innovation among the inhabitants of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
– We consider the Warsaw Copernicus Science Center as a model for our center. Our offer will be addressed both to children and adults – explains Dr Aleksander Socha, the UWM Chancellor.
The estimated investment cost will amount to approx. PLN 33 million. Over PLN 16.6 million will be received from the Warmia and Mazury Regional Operational Program and PLN 10 million from the UWM own resources.
