The National Science Center (NCN) has prepared statistics on grants awarded in the years 2011-2019. University of Warsaw became a leader among the beneficiaries of NCN competitions. It obtained 2,247 grants, for a total amount of PLN 977.7 million.

The statements published by the National Science Center show the activity of universities and other centers in the area of obtaining funding for scientific projects, from the establishment of the National Science Center to the end of 2019. The data were included in the charts divided into domain panels, within which units submitted their research proposals, as well as divided into scientific disciplines.

In the years 2011-2019, the University of Warsaw received 2,247 NCN grants, for a total amount of PLN 977.7 million, including: 1 077 grants for PLN 297 million within the category of humanities, social and art sciences; 340 grants for PLN 226.9 million as part of the life science projects and 830 grants for PLN 453.8 million as part of the exact and technical science category.
