The “Cátedra México” program was inaugurated by the University of Warsaw (UW). This is a series of lectures given by Mexican scientists. This year the lectures was delivered by physicist Dr Mauro Napsuciale Mendívil.

This year’s guest, Dr Mauro Napsuciale Mendívil, is the Dean of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Guanajuato. During the inauguration of the series he gave a lecture entitled “Dark Matter: Facts And Myths”. Also, Alejandro Negrín, Mexico’s ambassador to Poland, took part in the meeting.

The program “Cátedra México” includes lectures for students. The multidisciplinary program is also an opportunity for cooperation between Polish and Mexican scientists representing humanities, social sciences, natural and exact sciences.
The program is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico.
