06.08.2021

The employees of the Department of Belarusian Studies at the University of Warsaw (UW) in cooperation with the Belarusian Youth Hub Association have developed a “Language and cultural course for the Belarusian community in Warsaw”.

The program includes learning Polish from scratch, topics related to the realities of life, cultural differences, elements of Polish history, literature, art, politics, as well as sports information. The applications for the course should be sent until August 10.

By providing the most important communication skills in Polish language and basic cultural knowledge about Poland and the European Union, the authors of the program want to ease Belarusians to find themselves in the new reality.

The course will start on August 30 with 51 places for participants. They can be UW students and other Belarusians living in Warsaw. Classes will be held until October, three times a week, in the evenings. The Ombudsman is responsible for the application process.
