Rector of the University of Warsaw Prof. Marcin Pałys, due to the pandemic and difficult situation of a large part of the university community, decided to reduce by half the fees for accommodation in university facilities.

He issued an order to cancel lectures and classes at the University of Warsaw, with the exception of classes conducted remotely and to reduce by 50% the fees for the University of Warsaw facilities for the month of April 2020.

Almost 1,200 people, who have remained and lived in the student dormitories of the University of Warsaw, the House of the Scientific Worker of the University of Warsaw and university hotel facilities can take advantage of the reduced fee. The group includes Polish and foreign students, doctoral students, post-graduate students and scholarship holders of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
