The University of Warsaw (UW) is organizing the “New Ideas – Ukraine” competition as part of the “Initiative of Excellence – Research University” program. Its aim is to strengthen the cooperation of researchers from the University of Warsaw with Ukrainian scientists through the implementation of joint research projects, which will contribute to increasing the international recognition of research conducted at the university. Applications for the competition can be submitted until April 19.

Co-financing in the competition, from 30 thousand up to 90 thousand PLN may be spent on a research project, which should result in a publication or application for a research grant financed from external sources.

The money can also be used to hire a scientist from Ukraine and to cover research-related costs and remuneration for the project manager.

The “New Ideas – Ukraine” competition is intended for research projects lasting no more than six months.
