The results of the next Times Higher Education ranking have shown that out of 1,500 world universities, 172 were selected as the most internationalized ones. The University of Warsaw took 123rd place as one of only two universities from Central Europe included in this list.
The universities awarded in the Central European region are the University of Warsaw (123rd place in the ranking) and the Charles University in Prague (79th place in the ranking). Both universities belong to the 4EU + alliance, whose goal is the cooperation of six European universities.
The first place in the ranking was taken by the University of Hong Kong (HKU). The Federal Polytechnic in Zurich took the second place. The University of Hong Kong of China came third, Oxford University was the fourth and Imperial College London came fifth.
