During the 3rd Congress for the Development of the Education System, the University of Warsaw (UW) received a special award in the higher education category for achievements and activity in the Erasmus + Program.
This assessment was a result of the 6-year activity of the University of Warsaw in this Program, i.e. about 8,000 trips of students, doctoral students and employees, and nearly 5,500 visits, as well as implementing almost 70 projects with a total value of nearly EUR 55 million regarding mobility, methods and content of education and management school.
Erasmus + is the EU’s program for education, training, youth and sport in 2014-2020. The program allows students, doctoral students and graduates to go abroad for part of their studies or internship.
Employees also take advantage of the possibility of departure. The teaching staff can conduct classes in foreign institutions, and non-academic teachers have the opportunity to learn about the solutions of partner universities and share their experiences.
