Three PhD students from the Department of Bacterial Genetics of the Faculty of Biology of the University of Warsaw are finalizing works on the Internet system, which will shorten the stage of identifying and describing the function of bacterial genes from several dozen days to several hours.

The solution of scientists from the Faculty of Biology will significantly shorten the initial stage of research in scientific projects using bacterial DNA analysis.

The authors plan to launch the website, which will be available to any scientist using genetic analyzes of bacteria in his research. The system will provide high-quality feedback in a few hours, which is many times faster compared to manually analyzing genomic sequences of bacteria for up to several days.
