The University of Warsaw is planning to continue online lectures and practical classes in small groups in the coming semester.

-There are classes that can’t be transferred online. The university is not an online school that organizes various courses. University shapes those who participate in it – said Prof. Marcin Pałys, rector of the University of Warsaw. Classes in the 2020/2021 academic year will start on October 15.

As the rector of the University of Warsaw explained, classes with a large number of participants, e.g. lectures for 300-400 people, will be conducted online, while practical classes will be organized in small groups.

The decision on hybrid education is primarily related to the implementation of practical and workshop activities. The second reason is to facilitate the initial steps for new students.
